It Never Rains, But It Pours
I love blogging for Psychology Today. However, I have been unable to think of a new topic for my next blog. I began to analyze why I was blocked. I realized it was because I was in the midst of multiple transitions and could not focus on anything else. Although I have tried to stay away from personal stories, I think there are some lessons to be learned.
Give Your Mother A Raise
Adult children might just be the ones to help their retired parents revitalize their lives. Here are some stories:
Roxanne, a co-owner of a boutique PR firm, introduced me to her mother who is now her Woman Friday. She had just helped out with the refreshments and arrangements for a photo shoot. As her mother said to me, “Working for my daughter has added 10 years to my life.”
